The mobile app provides a simple way to capture receipts with your device and save them to your sheets or local Excel files. It uses your device's standard camera and file pickers.

What you can do

  • Take a photo of a receipt using the system camera
  • Pick existing images or PDFs from your device
  • Save results to Google Sheets (email workflow) or to a local Excel file
  • Share files using your phone's built‑in share options

Quick steps

  1. Open the app and go to Excel Manager or your mailbox
  2. Choose Take Photo or Upload (hold the button for multi-file mode)
  3. Review the extracted fields and save

Troubleshooting

  • If the camera won't open, check app permissions for Camera and Files
  • If saving to a file fails, try choosing the file again or a new location
